Athens, Days Three and Four

One of the very best things about Athens is that Hogan Puppy is exactly my height, and always has bits of food stuck to his front paws. Yesterday I got a chicken nugget and two french fries. Today I got probably 4 or 5 pretzels at once! Hogan and I are really good sharers.

Another good this is that there are lots of nice places for sleeping. There is the couch, and then the corner where my blanket is, then under either armchair, then also the little red couch that I think belonged to Hogan Puppy before I got here. There is also under Hogan Puppy's crib and on Uncle Jeremy's bed.

One of the not nice things is it rains a lot here, I think. I keep not getting to go to the Dog Park on account of the raining, but Aunt Jenn says before I go home, she promises to take me.

Mama H called today! I didn't get to talk to her because I was outside making Number Two, but Aunt Jenn let me listen to her on the silver phone and she promised to tell her on the computer that I'm ok. I hope she and Mama A call again tomorrow. I miss their sweet voices.

Fitzwarts camp day 2

Well, Day 2 of camp has been pretty fun. I got to sleep on the couch last night, and even made it to the bed with Uncle Jer for a few minutes while Aunt Jenn was shooshing puppy Hogan. Puppy Hogan is a lot like my sister Scout cuz he has lots of energy, but he's better cuz he drops all kinds of good food. It rained today so I didn't get to go to the park for dogs, but I did get to sleep under the Christmas tree.
Plus also I got to lay on the couch today with Aunt Jenn while she read her book (she likes to read almost as much as Mama H).

Going to Athens

Today, I got a very exciting Christmas present. Mama H and Mama A are going to the Great Britain to meet Harry Potter, so I got to go to Athens to stay with Aunt Jenn and Uncle Jeremy and their two-legged puppy Hogan! At first, I only thought I was going to Manmaw and Tom's to see Santa. I was excited about Santa, but confused because Mama H was very anksous anckshush worried. She kept asking Mama A if it was going to be all right, and Mama A kept telling her she was worried on account of nothing and Mama H said yes huh, it was too something, and then Mama A said to hush and not argue in front of the baby.

Anyway, then we got to Manmaw and Tom's and there were so many cars! There were other people there too, besides Manmaw and Tom. There was Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Jenn and puppy Hogan, and white-haired girl Candice and white-haired other lady, Andi and the boy who comes with them who I think is named Kunkle. Then I remembered about my trip! And that I was going to Athens, where I don't even think I've ever been, not once!

Mama H put me in the fence around the big, huge water bowl that is covered up in winter and went inside with Mama A for the opening of presents and they ate some food that smelled really really good but I didn't get to have any. After about a zillion hours, or more probably just three or something like that, everybody came outside to see me. I pretended to be very calm, but I was super excited even though I'm going to miss my moms a lot. I got into Uncle Jeremy's car, and drove him all the way to Athens, which is FAR!

As soon as we got to Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Jenn and puppy Hogan's house, I made sure to Number One in their yard, so no other dogs got any ideas. Then we went inside and I made sure to smell everything to make sure nothing was poisoned. They have lots of toys for me here. That Hogan puppy kept playing with them too, but I'm a really good sharer now on account of Scout.

Uncle Jeremy put my blanket out for me straight away and said I could lay on it, just like at home. I love my blanket, because Mama H loves it, which means its very special.

Uncle Jeremy though, said I needed to understand my roots, and then he put my food out like this.

I remembered what Mama H told me though, about pretending like I couldn't see the red and that big 'G', just like I'm supposed to do to Mama A's red stuff. I had to look at it so I could eat my dinner though, so I ate real quick like and even left one piece to prove a point, which is called knowing where you come from.

(Hey Mama H! Hey Mama A! I love you!)

Tomorrow, Aunt Jenn says we're going for a run, so it's a good thing I remembered my blue leash, and Uncle Jeremy says we're going to a park for dogs if it doesn't rain! Oh, I hope it doesn't!

That puppy Hogan is asleep now, so I'm going to see if I can't find some scraps he left on the floor. He's a very messy puppy.

Happy Christmas every body!

Thanks for reading my blog! My name is Margaret, and I'm a crime fighting dog (I'm particularly good at fighting goose related crime). Normally my jurisdiction is the greater Braselton area, but in December 2008 Mama H and Mama A decided to take a holiday to the UK. Since they couldn't bring me along (something about not having a passport) I got to stay with Aunt Jenn, Uncle Jer, and their two legged puppy Hogan. The following entries are the stories of my adventures in the strange land of Athens.
